The Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association, a 501(c)(3) organization, has a long history and very strong ties to APG and its surrounding community. The APG NDIA chapter was established in 1944 as the Army Ordnance Association. Over the past 95 years, the association has adjusted to accommodate the changing nature of APG and its tenant organizations. Since the BRAC in 2005, and Fort Monmouth tenants move to APG, the NDIA has been in the process of working to incorporate the Acquisition, C4ISR, and Cybersecurity nature of the new tenants’ missions into the Chapter’s value proposition. The Chapter is in the process of refining its plans for support to APG – both North and South; and surrounding communities to facilitate networking between government and industry officials across the Defense Industrial base including the acquisition, requirements, test, and evaluation, and contracting communities across the C5ISR, Test and Evaluation, Chem-Bio Defense and Medical Support disciplines. A major focus of the APG NDIA chapter will be to provide much-needed support to education, scholarship and STEM-related activities.
The Chapter will hold integrated micro-panels of interest to its members and the surrounding community, support STEM-related activities, provide scholarship opportunities to deserving students, and generate a quarterly newsletter that serves to increase awareness of critical issues affecting industry/government collaboration and opportunities.
To grow and continue the efforts outlined above, we need your support. Without your participation, we will not be able to continue to provide the networking, scholarship, and community outreach that we provide today and increasing over time.
We have created a Sponsorship Program with three levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each sponsorship level provides the following benefits:
Sponsorship Sponsor Options Include:
Gold ——- $1,000, provides for larger logo and networking opportunities
Silver —– $500, provides midsize logo and networking opportunities
Bronze — $250, provides smaller logo and networking opportunities and is for designed for companies with 10 or fewer employees.
It should be noted that lesser amounts are always welcome and will be recognized in venues.
