- Working with ACC-APG to work out details of their industry engagement plan. Will be a multifaceted plan that includes something like a PALT/ALT; more frequently technology exchanges with industry; etc.,

- Working with ACC-APG to work out details of their industry engagement plan. Will be a multifaceted plan that includes something like a PALT/ALT; more frequently technology exchanges with industry; etc.,
- Will be co-hosting the DHS & JPEO industry day 6-7 December 2021 in VA
- Corresponded with the Senior strategist from JPEO CBRND. He sees an evolving trend regarding digital engineering (DE) and model based system engineering (MBSE). It is become more prevalent and useful. Anticipate it being called out in future RFPs. Most large companies are familiar with DE and MBSE. JPEO CBRND wants to make sure small companies understand DE and MSBSE and their future impacts. He will be working with NDIA and local Government officials to establish an outreach/education effort. Senior strategist met with Harford County and representative that currently provides DE/MBSE training at the Harford County Economic Development Office on 4 November to discuss vision and general concept and next steps – more to follow.

Had an introductory meeting with the JPEO and several of his key staff members on 17 May 2021 and discussed what NDIA is doing in the local area with respect to Industry/Government interaction and collaboration. The JPEO indicated he was very interested engaging more effectively and more frequently with industry and was absolutely willing to consider instituting a monthly engagement with industry. He expressed interest in providing strategic level insight each month, followed by presentations from JPMs. Expectation that the monthly sessions will begin in October 2021.
Met with JPEO Director of Strategic Communications and team on 24 May 2021 to discuss a framework for the monthly sessions. The Director also discussed the idea of setting time aside during some period of time each month or quarter to meet with industry to get a brief on IR&D investments and technology development plans.
