November 2022

  • NDIA met with two senior leaders from C5ISR Center in October/Early November 2022. They both agreed to take steps to help industry better understand how portfolios are aligned under the new organizational construct.
  • Both C5ISR Center Directorates ESI and RTI issue updated BAAs. Shows technology focus areas, points of contact and is aligned with Network CFT; PEO C3T, and PEO IEW&S. Must read for everyone focused on providing C5ISR capability to the Army.
  • C5ISR Center is prepared to provide industry with a presentation on impact of DoD 5000.83. NDIA will work with appropriate local Association to bring forward
  • The C5ISR Center indicated they are open to providing a follow-up TEM at the CUI level. Anticipate it complementing the APG APBI and on-going Network CFT TEMS. The C5ISR Center’s intent is to conduct the TEMs while not repeating information provided in NCFT TEMs

September 2022

  • C5ISR Center is prepared to provide industry with a presentation on impact of DoD 5000.83. NDIA will work with appropriate local Association to bring forward
  • The C5ISR Center indicated they are open to providing a follow-up TEM at the CUI/FOUO level. It may be combined with other events and spread throughout the year. Intent is to conduct the TEMs while not repeating information provided in NCFT TEMs

  • Director S&TCD and shortly Integration and has expressed an interest in periodic engagements with industry similar to what PEO IEW&S is doing and what JPEO CBRND and PM I2S have expressed interest in.
  • C5ISR Center recently communicated to several stakeholders that they continue to evaluate C5ISR focused ALE Phase I and II RFI whitepaper submissions from industry about 8 or 9 months ago.

November 2021

  • For those not aware the C5ISR Center is one of the primary entry points into the Joint Systems Integration Lab (JSIL); NetModX, and COMMEXs, leading to participation in Project Convergence. Key to all of that is establishing a CRADA with the C5ISR center to facilitate technical information exchange. Over the past 18 months or so they have gone from high 50s/60s to over 190 CRADAs with industry.
  • The attached 2021-10-25 AFCEA luncheon event presentation shows the next level of C5ISR Center organization. Combined with information provided earlier we should now know who leads each organization and general portfolio in each. 
  • Director S&TCD and shortly Integration and has expressed an interest in periodic engagements with industry similar to what PEO IEW&S is doing and what JPEO CBRND and PM I2S have expressed interest in.
